Privacy policy
What Zodeen collects, why, who handles it, and how to get it removed.
Who we are
Zodeen (zodeen.com) is run by One Caye. For anything about your data write to privacy@zodeen.com.
What we collect
Your account: your email address, your name if you sign in with Google, and the time you last signed in. We do not store passwords: you sign in with an emailed link or with Google.
What your team puts in Zodeen: projects, tasks, updates, comments, risks, people’s names, roles, work emails, time off and other commitments, and the change history of all of it.
Visits to zodeen.com: which page was opened and for how long, with a random number kept in your browser. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, and nothing is sold.
Error reports: when the app breaks in your browser, the error message, the page and your browser type, so we can fix it. They are kept for 30 days.
Why we use it
To run the product your workspace signed up for: plans, capacity, forecasts, Isabella’s stand-ups, reports and suggestions, and the emails and Slack messages your workspace turns on.
To keep it safe and working: sign-in, access by role, backups, error and uptime monitoring.
We do not use your workspace’s data to train AI models, and we do not sell or rent it.
Who processes your data
Zodeen uses these services to run. Each handles data only to do its part.
Google Cloud and Firebase (United States): Hosting, the database (Firestore), sign-in (Firebase Authentication), Isabella’s server (Cloud Run), backups (Cloud Storage), error and uptime monitoring.
Anthropic (Claude) (United States): Writes the prose of stand-ups and reports, answers Ask Isabella, translates. It receives the facts of the plan it writes about, not the whole database. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, API data is not used to train its models.
ElevenLabs (United States): Isabella’s spoken voice on the website, when a visitor turns the voice on. It receives the text she speaks.
Resend (United States): Sends Zodeen’s emails (stand-ups, reports, nudges, mentions) to a workspace’s own people, once a workspace turns email on.
If your workspace connects GitHub, Jira, Linear, Slack or a calendar, Zodeen reads from or posts to that service with the keys your workspace provides. Those keys are kept in Google Secret Manager, never in the database.
Where it is kept and for how long
In Google Cloud in the United States. Your workspace’s data is kept while the workspace exists. When a workspace is deleted, its data is removed from the database within 30 days and from backups within 35 days.
Nightly backups are kept for 35 days. Error reports are kept for 30 days. Visit records hold no name or email address.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to privacy@zodeen.com. A workspace owner can also export the whole workspace at any time (Controls → Export → Whole workspace).
If your employer set up your workspace, they decide what is kept about your work; we will pass your request to them and help them answer it.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California) you may have further rights, including to object and to complain to your data-protection authority.
Children
Zodeen is a work product and is not meant for anyone under 16.
